On Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 12 in all churches of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac, a memorial service has been served for Patriarch Alexy II of Russia of blessed repose.
With the blessing and on behalf of His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia, at the Catedral Church at noon the memorial service for Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia od blessed repose has been served by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, a vicar of His Holiness with the concelebration of priesthood and deacons of the Cathedral church. On this occasion, they all chanted along with lots of people unanimously Memory Eternal!
On sunday, Bishop of Hvosno will serve Holy Liturgy at the St. Marko`s church, and after that at 12 will be served memorial service for Patriarch Alexy II of blessed repose at the Russian church of Holy Trinity, which is located next to St. Marko`s church in Belgrade.
