His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa will pay a conciliatory visit to the Church of Cyprus from 13th – 20th Mar

During this official visit His Beatitude will be accompanied by Their Eminences Elder Metropolitan Paul of Memphis, Elder Metropolitan Petros of Aksum, and Metropolitan George of Zimbabwe, together with His Grace Athanasios Bishop of Cyrene . His Beatitude and his entourage will be met at the Larnaca Airport by His Beatitude Archbishop Chrysostomos II of All Cyprus, the Members of the Holy Synod, His Excellency the Minister of Education and Culture Mr Andreas Dimitriou on behalf of the Cypriot Government, His Excellency the Ambassador of Greece Mr. Dimitri Rallis and other officials.
On Sunday 16th March 2008 the Patriarchal Concelebration will take place at the Holy Church of the Theotokos (Pallouriotissas) in Nicosia . His Beatitude will also visit the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus, Holy Metropolises and Monasteries. He will also meet with His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr Dimitri Christofias at the Presidential Palace, on Monday 17th march 2008 at noon. The Venerable Primate of the Second Throne Church of Alexandria will depart from Cyprus on Thursday 20th March 2008.
