The first stage of expansion of a Warsaw hospital “Inflancka”

On the 20th March,2009 bishop of Siemiatycze George took part in the conclusion ceremony of the first stage of expansion of a gynecological and obstetric hospital “Inflancka” in Warsaw.
His eminence, who is taking care of the hospital at the blessing of the metropolitan Sawa, has addressed people gathered: “I remember the day only a dozen moths or so, when we were standing above a large hole and I was blessing the foundation stone. It is difficult to believe how much has been done in a very short time. It is a miracle of God’s blessing for a birth of such place, which is itself devoted to birth.”
Bishop George has handed over Kazanska Icon of the Holy Lady , which is a gift from the metropolitan. It has been placed in the main hall of the hospital, so that it could protect patients awaiting to give birth. It is the second gift from the metropolitan. The previous one is the icon in the hospital chapel.
Apart bishop George, many other noble guests took part in the celebration at the hospital. Among them were representatives from the Warsaw City Council, representatives of the Roman Catholic metropolitan, directors of Warsaw hospital, command of the Polish Army Warsaw Division and a large group of doctors and nurses.
