The participants reviewed and assessed the main aspects of the MECC’s activities over the last few months as well as the meeting held with the representatives of the ecumenical partners.
The meeting adopted important decisions of administrative and financial nature to be executed at two stages. During the meeting His Holiness also held a phone conversation with Dr. Sam Kobia, the General Secretary of the World Council of Churches to discuss the prospects of further expanding the cooperation between the two councils.
