A Liturgy service in Holy Sepulcher in the memory of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy

A Liturgy was held this morning in Jerusalem in the memory of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and all Russia. The Liturgy was headed by Archbishop Theodosios Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of Sevastia, of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem. A number of priests and deacons helped him during the service, in the presence of hundreds of pilgrimages from all over the world. A representative of the Russian church was also present in the liturgy. Archbishop Theodosios in his speech gave his condolences to the Russian church in the name of his His Beatitude Theophilos III. He also talked about the good deeds of his Holiness Patriarch Alexy and his contributions to the Russian Orthodox Church.
