January 15, Verkohavna Rada passed the law, according to which the officially registered religious organizations have right for permanent use of the land plots of state and communal ownership exclusively for the purposes of construction and maintenance of the cult and other buildings, necessary for procurement of their activity.
On Thursday 327 people's deputies voted for alterations to some laws of Ukraine concerning the rights of the religious organisations. Besides, the law envisions that cessation of activity of the religious organizations, enterprises institutions and organizations of communal and state ownership is a ground for termination of right of use of the land plot.
